The role of AMMC
The Moroccan Capital Market Authority (AMMC) is the regulator of the Moroccan capital market, established by law no. 43-12. It succeeded the CDVM in 2016. Its primary mission is to protect savings invested in financial instruments: it licenses mutual funds and asset management companies, approves issuers' financial operations and supervises all market participants.
